New Regeneration Programme in Leicestershire
Retail Workshop were approached towards the end of 2006 and following discussions we are pleased to announce that we have been awarded a contract from Oadby and Wigston Borough Council to set out and complete a 2 year Retail Regeneration Programme working in the Leicstershire town of South Wigston.

The programme will incorporate aspects from our previous regeneration work but will be specifically tailored to help outlets in South Wigston , aiming to help them develop their full potential and improve shopping for locals and visitors alike.

Like many small towns retail sales have been on the decline, empty properties on the increase and customer footfall reducing.

Over the next 2 years we aim to work with the outlets, the local authorities and other business help agencies to try to redress that decline and start to show and realise the full potential of South Wigston.

The programme started in Jan 2007.
