News and Awards
Award winning clients
It can't be just a coincidence that a number of our recent clients have won (and are still winning a number of high profile prestigious awards. So far we can boast the following from our client base:
- Cycle Retailer of the Year - for 2 years running - Evans Cycles
- Independent Florist of the Year - to Sarah Horne Flowers (and a host of other awards)
- Midlands Butcher of the Year - Frank Parker Ltd - for
a number of years running
And we currently have 2 other current independent retail clients who are 'on the verge' of winning their own retail trade sector awards. And that's not mentioning the award wining Abbey Green Regeneration programme.
Congratulations (and good luck) to them all. It's been (and still is) a pleasure helping and working with you!

Retail Business Reviews... taken off
Since we set up our Retail Business Review service about 10 years
ago, at the request of the local Chamber of Commerce, it’s gone
from strength to strength.
We have now agreed to supply them to independent retailers throughout
the country who are members of retail trade organisations such as
The National Pharmaceutical Association, The Bookesellers Association
and a whole host of Business Links.
Over the years we have now completed over 300 reviews. See our One
Day Business Review for more information.

Horsburgh Chemists - 11 years later...
It might not be the longest wait for an encore in history but by our
standards it's pretty good!
In 1993 we carried out a series of 1 day training sessions on Retail
Security and Shrinkage with groups of independent pharmacies over the
UK for the National Pharmaceutical Association. One such session led
to a few more in Scotland and at one of them amongst the delegates were
Steven Murray and Karen Horsburgh. Steven and Karen are now directors
of their own chain of pharmacies around Edinburgh (Horsburgh Chemist)
and when 11 years later, they wanted training for their stores on -
Retail Security and Shrinkage - they managed to track us down and, hey
presto, another session has been booked and organised.
Eleven years later. Not bad for an encore!
Tara and Co: new local client (April 2004)
Tara and Co were part of the initial programme working with Regenesis
